The month of June was chosen for LGBT Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the important impact LGBT people have had in the world. In Boerne, June 29 and 30, two events commemorate these events and raise awareness through solidarity. They are The Boerne Pride Walk, and Boerne Starting Out. The activities are detailed in this website. We hope you can register and be a part of this celebration.
